This place is a little bit tricky to find, tucked behind the cathedral 3/4 blocks from the main square, but with its amazing owners, manicured lawn and clean rooms, it’s a little treasure!
Hospitality: 10/10 The mum and dad (Lidia and Samuel) that own this place are welcoming and super friendly. We stayed 4 nights because I got salmonella. Lidia made me tea, soup and called an amazing doctor to the house for me. I cannot speak highly enough of these wonderful people.
Room: 10/10 We had the removed room down in the corner of the garden. The bed was super comfy, loads of blankets and the bathroom is huge. Very clean and a door straight out onto the grass for sun bathing and relaxing with the cutest dog in the world!
Location: 8/10 Initially we found it a little tricky to find, it’s 3 blocks back from the church and down a small hill. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the lake but it’s nice to be removed with a bit of quiet and a tranquil garden to enjoy the Sunshine.
Value: 10/10 The price was great, 80 bolivianos for weekends and 70 during the week. The shower was hot, the place was clean and we had access to a basic kitchen which was definitely usable.
Overall: 9/10 The owners here definitely go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
